Danika Peets
A multidisciplinary creative and performance collaborator pushing the boundaries of current representations.
Danika is a Brisbane, Australia based film and theatre creative artist, specialising in acting, voice-over acting, theatre collaboration, photography, content creation and currently also training as an amateur strength athlete. Known for such roles as EVPD Officer in ‘Good Cop/Bad Cop’ (2024), and Genevieve in ‘Crow’s Nest’ (2024) shown at The Loft Theatre, she is an emerging creative practitioner graduating from the 2024 QUT BFA Drama cohort. Having previously studied acting and falling in love with honest and emotive story-telling, Danika has performed in a variety of stage shows and has experience in acting for screen, and has studied with other prominent companies such as BigFork Theatre Company, and The Warehouse Screen Acting Studio.
Within her creative pursuits, Danika strives for emotional honesty, vulnerable expression of the human condition, and high contrasting visual imagery. The interplay between light and dark with an acceptance of duality is typically a general theme that makes an appearance in both her performance and content creation, where emotional story-telling is a dominating characteristic with which she explores.
